Freeride: open groups

Every week, we are organizing different Freeride Days with open groups for all levels. The three groups are divided into tge three levels Rookie, Intermediate and Pro. Every group will have between a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 people in it. Everyone can take part!

 

Ideal for Freeride Beginners For Rookies

For off-piste beginners: You master the parallel turn on the red piste - we take you off-piste.On the course you will cover several of the following topics:

  • Equipment Check
    (safety equipment, shovel, probe, avalanche transceiver)
  • Warm-up run
  • Introduction to snow and avalanche evaluation
  • Off to the terrain

Ideal for Intermediate Riders For Intermediates

For those with off-piste experience.

  • Equipment check
    (safety equipment, shovel, probe, avalanche transceiver)
  • Snow and avalanche evaluation
  • Tips and tricks to improve skiing technique
  • The best runs in Gastein

Sessions for Pros For Pros

For those who feel at home off-piste.

  • Equipment check
    (safety equipment, shovel, probe, avalanche transceiver)
  • The best runs in the Gastein Valley: Ankogel, Schareck, Sportgastein
    (dependent on snow and avalanche conditions)
